To shave $26 million out of its budget, the S.C. Department of Mental Health announced today it would furlough workers, close centers and eliminate beds from its facilities.

The cut backs should start with the salaries of the CEOs of these major companies and our politicians. Then work it's way down....They'll never get this budget under control starting at the bottom ! Geeeze! People have NOTHING to give other than the clothes on their backs!

Closing facilities that are desperately needed will only add to the problem...and the problem will get even bigger.
